Tarrant County Comes Together for Safety/Security Event
Sunday, August 22nd, 2:00-3:30
The growth of Anti-Semitism across our country must be addressed locally. Here, just prior to our High Holy Days, The Jewish Federation of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, along with the CBI House and Security Committee, will be sponsoring an in-person safety and security event at CBI. Whether you have considered becoming an Usher/Greeter or not, this occasion should not be missed. You are being asked to give up 90 minutes of your time to help become part of the solution.
On August 22nd, Secure Community Network (SCN) will provide Stuart Frisch to lead the programs. He has done two earlier sessions for us that were very well received. The overall goal is to ensure baseline competency to all congregants who want to help keep our gatherings safe. We want to be a welcoming community to visitors, but we have to be alert to suspicious activity or possible threats. Then, we must understand how to respond with the utmost safety in mind.
Beyond the security concerns, emergency procedures for medical, fire, or situational violence will give you a quick understanding of the actions you should take before the first responders arrive. The program, in our sanctuary, will be tailored specifically to our facility. For questions, call Jim Stanton 817 307-9167 or the CBI office.
COVID protocols, including masks and social distancing, will be followed.
