Yahrzeit Board

Losing a loved one is probably one of life’s most difficult trials.  While the loved one lives on in our own personal memories, some of us seek ways to honor this person with a tangible memorial.

When a Yahrzeit Plaque is purchased, your loved one will be remembered with a light alongside their plaque on the anniversary of their death and for Yizkor four times a year.  Their name will also be remembered in perpetuity here at CBI.  For our members who have converted to Judaism and for those members of our CBI family who are not Jewish, but have found a spiritual home here, it is appropriate to remember your loved ones with a Yahrzeit Plaque.

Members of Congregation Beth Israel and their families can purchase Yahrzeit Plaques for $270 per plaque.  From the time of purchase, it will take approximately four to six weeks to install the plaque on the Yahrzeit Board.
