General Information 

Personal Preparation

Selichot  - This is our time to prepare for the Days of Awe when we stand before God and pray that we will indeed be blessed with life for another year.  As we turn inward, let us pause and look deep into our souls so that we can examine all aspects of our lives. 

Worship Services

We are delighted to host services at our synagogue and online, led by Rabbi Robert Jacobs. We are happy to have Cantorial Soloist Marta Johnson celebrating with us throughout the Days of Awe. If you are joining us in person, please arrive early to help us ensure everyone is comfortably seated before we begin

Seating 

Members
CBI members in good standing receive seating for High Holy Day services as part of their membership.  Please register here.
 
Non-Members  

A limited number of seats are available for non-members. Please register here with the following donation amounts:

  • Individual ($270) - Includes 1 adult 
  • Couple ($540) - Includes 2 adult 
  • Family ($675) - Includes 2 adult seats and as many seats needed for dependent children 
  • Member's non-dependent children and other family members ($90 per ticket)
Note: CBI Members who participate in our CHAI Hopes drive at or above a $225 donation amount receive two (2) tickets for their child or parent to attend all services. Please see our CHAI Hopes donation page for more info.
 
Check-in will begin one hour before services.

Childcare services

We will offer childcare for children under the age of 5 for the following:

  • Rosh Hashanah Morning Service
  • Yom Kippur Morning Service

We are considering offering childcare for evening services, please let us know if you are interested by emailing religiousschool@congegationbethisrael.org. 

You must register for childcare by August 31. Our ability to provide childcare relies on advanced registration.  Register here

If you have an infant or non-walking Toddler please let us know.

Help needed

At CBI, we value participation and the understanding that we are all responsible for each other. Please help make these High Holy Days a success by sharing the responsibility and filling one or more needs. CBI Volunteer Form

Spaces are limited. Parking is permitted at the church across the street. (please note this lot is NOT monitored)  If possible, we ask that you carpool with friends and family. Please remember, there is no parking on Pleasant Run Road. Reserved Parking is available as part of our CHAI Hopes donation drive to all sponsors at or above a $225 donation amount.
